Stars dance this week for fundraiser

BELLEVILLE - Nine weeks ago 24 amazing volunteers met for the first time and began a journey. Each year, eight couples are paired with a local dance instructor to create, practise, learn and deliver a dance routine for VIQ Dancing with the Stars Quinte. This Friday night you can enjoy their hard work and dedication.
This event embodies the meaning of volunteerism. Participants give their time and talents for numerous hours and assist VIQ in raising funds to support our programs and services offered throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. Volunteers assist in decorating, set-up, 50/50 sales, greeting public, bartending, judging and the list goes on.
