Hundreds of summer volunteer opportunities

Volunteering can take on many forms and many times we forget about the informal volunteer opportunities. The summer brings heat and many of our seniors would benefit from assistance with cutting the grass or putting the recycling to the curb. If you live in an area that has centralized mail boxes offer to collect your neighbours’ mail. If you have not seen your neighbours around a quick call to visit is a great way to reach out.

Summer months are here and hundreds of programs are looking for your support. One hour a week or month can make a difference. Contact our office and make your appointment today.
